The US Attorney General says German carmaker, Volkswagen, has agreed to plead guilty in connection with its emission scandal. Lynch added that Volkswagen also agreed to take specific measures to prevent future violations. The US Attorney General announced the indictment of the company’s six former high-level executives. According to Lynch, these people abused their positions at the company during a nearly-one-decade quote-conspiracy.
